930 rear caliper modification - re-machine mounting to bolt to 911 steel or aluminum trailing arm and 914/6 trailing arm Includes spacers . We countersink the mounting surface to accept aluminum spacers that allow perfect alignment of caliper to rotor. Check out how we do it here

New C-2 Turbo rear calipers in RED or BLACK modified to bolt directly to steel or aluminum trailing arms. - pair

We convert these calipers by machining off the original mounting ears and making a radial mount surface. Then a billet adapter of 2024 T-6 then converts it to mount directly to 911 rear banana's or the 914 Trailing arm. These are a pretty good match for a 930 front caliper and will clear 15" wheels. Use 930 rear rotors.

930 3.3L 78-89 Turbo rear caliper upgrade

Upgrading 930 78-89 Turbo rear - Notes:
 

You can also put S-4 FRONT calipers on the rear 930 Trailing arm (not SC or standard 911arm) using our adapter(VCI-6650). WARNING!! these calipers are made for a 1.25" (32mm) thick rotor. If you use these on the rear, the original 930 rear rotor thickness is only 1.1" (28mm) and your outer brake pad is in danger or falling out of the caliper when it gets down to the last 1/8" of pad material. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you monitor the wear in the rear and replace the pads before this occurs!! We have a Race Rotor of the proper 1.25" (32mm) thickness (VCI-4550) with aluminum hat that solves this dangerous situation - no handbrake provisions however.

A much better option is the VCI-9610 which uses the stock size 930 rear rotor.
